It currently won't run using any version of cedega or wine. Some people have been able to install it using cedega, but it won't play. Civ4 is the only reason I ever boot in XP.

What exactly does it do when you try and log out? Metacity may still be running if you didn't delete your ~/.gnome2/session file which could be causing problems.
