Thanks for the guide, worked great for my mx510. It let me finally lift the hold on upgrading the evdev package (previously downgraded to Breezy version). I think the whole reason the dapper...
Thanks. I did this and had to create a symbolic link libmss.so.6 to the file included in miles and also change the export path from /lib/ to /usr/lib. I don't remember having to do this in Breezy,...
You should check out the native nwn installer like others have suggested. It should work a lot better than using wine.
I have problem with running nwn after using the installer in Dapper. When I...

I know this is an old thread, but I have a related question.
I have an chaintech av710 and sb audigy installed, w/ the av710 set to default. I use the av710 only for the high-res wolfson DAC out...

Since your still in gnome you still use your gtk-themes (listed as controls in theme manager). There are xfwm themes that are similar to metacity themes or complete ports. Many are available in the...
I only answered yes to 8 of them, so I guess I'm ok. A lot of those syptoms are very generic though and can be caused by anything. Most of mine are related to MS.
Oh and there is a huge...
What exactly does it do when you try and log out? Metacity may still be running if you didn't delete your ~/.gnome2/session file which could be causing problems.
To change back to metacity just...
lol, I'll have to remember to stop at 98 shots of espresso.
It's one of those things that you'll only notice/miss if you have used a window managers or applications that support this in the past. :)
Thou shalt not blaspheme :p.
Seriously though, I'm a computer science major that doesn't remember life BC (before coffee). Those that tell you coffee has nothing to do with programming don't...

Thanks for the command. There is an odd quirk when that command is used as xfce-keyboard-shortcut. Instead opening the Applications menu it just hilights the menu and will not open a menu until you...
