Does the graphics card explain the green dots over VNC as well?
The forum is converting my png to a jpg which is where the loss occurs. Here is the original image

I just viewed both attachments on my Windows system, and you're right the dots do not appear. If you actually zoom in on the image, you can see grey dots though. I don't know if they are being lost...
I have also attached a screen shot from the VNC connection on my phone.
