Re: Poll: What name for >N

    To 1.

    Likely not your purview.

    To 2.

That is sad. The Nudibranch is a far older species and is far more beautiful.
Nascent is a good word. 'natty' sounds like the 'nappy headed ho'...

    Poll: What name for >N

If it has not already been chosen, I figured out what I think it should be...

    Best choice:
Perfect. Means 'New *weird* Animal' which fits every Ubuntu release.

Re: How to Multi-boot (Maintain more then 2 OS)

Try examining this thread. It explains using a single drive, but it also works to "point at" other physical volumes as well. It only needs to be set up on one...

    [ubuntu] Re: Fixing Grub

It appears that you did not read my post very well. I did not say that Ubuntu would not or did not install. Ubuntu runs fine. It ran fine once I installed it. THE PROBLEM is that despite my...

    [ubuntu] Re: Fixing Grub

Thanks. I will attempt an install from command line. That is going to be kind of difficult since it will not boot! So, do I have to chroot after booting the Ubuntu disc again, and install it from...

    Hi guys,

First post, but not new to Linux or Ubuntu.

I set my drives up with MY boot loader, and I boot several OSes. I installed Ubuntu and told it to place grub on the / drive, which is...
