    I have a Raid [5] using mdadm which i cant seem to be able to rebuild correctly....

    Unfortunately that will not do anything to me.
    I tried the ones that you have mentioned when upgrading kernel and still nothing.
    Also i dont have the issue with black screen ( had it 1 - 2 times )...

    If the problem is not with the card itself (like bad cooling),
    I dont believe that is the case, as it would have also affected windows that i also have installed on.
    Also it should at least boot...

    If you can go in there then the system is not frozen
