Shame the only replies to this have been spam.
All that security, SSO and Faff and there are still spam posts :(
and I'm still stuck with accessibility tools that don't seem to work.
I have filed a bug over on Lunchpad.

I've also noticed I can't use the Magnifier and Shotcut together, I guess they are both fighting for the GPU,...

I held off for a...

Hi
I have 2 machines, my desktop currently running Mint 18.3 and my laptop (acer switch alpha 12) running Ubuntu 18.04
I have a sight impairment so I use the magnification assist tool.
I have...
Ok, thank you, just wanted to ensue I wasn't doing anything wrong, right is a Ubuntu One thing and it's safe to ignore ;)
I want to get rid of the extra step I have t go through to log in, the screen for Ubuntu One, asking for my personal details, so far I'm clicking the "exit without updating" link, but I assume I...
Amazing, thank you, will check these links out, shame it has to be soooo hard!
Anyway, the first link did it, added the files as trusted, (I incorrectly did the fw one which caused it to crash...
Yes, I did, but I am worried that entering a different using name will affect my ubuntu forms account.
Hi there
So over the last year or so, when I log in with SSO.
"The site 'Ubuntu Forums https' requires that you set a valid username."
So I enter the details and it says 'leona' as already...
Ok, so I have got myself an acer switch alpha 12 2 in 1.
It comes with windows 10.
I put ubuntu 18.04LTS onto a usb stick and booted it.
All went well, in fact I was impressed that everything...
Hi.
I tried 17.04, but no luck, I've tried many tutorials, but nothing can seem to get my touch screen to work, yet it works in Windows 10.
Not yet, interested to know why 17.04 would work if 16.04 doesn't, searching around it seems it worked in 12.04 but was broken ever since, don't you just love that :(
Hi
I bought myself a fujitsu lifebook T730 to replace the Acer switch 10 that I just couldn't get working with Ubuntu. I was hoping a 'proper' 2 in 1 with no crippled EFI and more storage would...
Now I've got a problem trying to boot from the usb using 16.04.1
I now can;t fine
Anywhere on the system, is the 16.04.1 broken? (the key also boots straight to grub, no menu).
I've tried just about everything to rebuild grub, it refuses to find the i386-efi dir, copying i386-oc to i386-efi causes grub to crash so that doesn't work, I've tried rebuilding grub by running the...
Good to hear you got yours working.
My grub menu is still messed up, still researching how to fix that.
With 15.10 mine would freeze like that, hitting power would sometimes bring it back, but I...
hum, yep that is what I did.
so you should have 3 files in the dir
/EFI/BOOT/bootia32.efi
/EFI/BOOT/BOOTx64.EFI
/EFI/BOOT/grubx64.efi
and in boot
/boot/grub/efi.img
/boot/grub/font.pf2...
Even with the 32 bit efi? Mine wouldn't boot until I used it.
