My fonts in nautilus are huge after a reboot. I can open as root and everything is good, but if I open as my default user then things are kind of ridiculous. Does any one know what is going on?

Negative. It is a full gigabit switch. Like I said If I boot to a windows drive it runs at gigabit speeds. I have also tested THIS CARD and everything runs at gigabit speeds.

I don't think there is any way for me to move them around but they are in order by sata ports. the drive with ubuntu is listed as 0 the others are listed 1,2,3

The only option in my bois that I can see has the first boot device set as cdrom then hdd. Is that waht you mean?
