I have the same problem with the added twist of only getting a text mode installer.

I have a MBP 3,1. The machine previously had OS X 10.5/Ubuntu 10.04. I replaced the drive and upgraded to OS X...

[ubuntu] Re: 9.04 Still over heats.

This is totally NOT a hardware issue. I have two oses on the same machine. In one, works fine. 9.04, not so fine. The same machine, 2 hours earlier with 8.10 worked fine as well.

Poll: Re: HOWTO: Wireless Security - WPA1, WPA2, LEAP, etc.

I think that this is a regression. Worked fine for me in 8.10. In 9.04, it will connect every now and then - when it does, it takes _MINUTES_. Otherwise, it keeps failing and asking for passwords....

The two links called out in the script are not valid. The code is probably fine. Any thoughts on another mirror?

Re: Are you happy with printing under DAPPER ?

Mostly. I have an HP LaserJet 4L. Under Breezy, it worked great. When I first installed one of the later stages of Dapper, it worked fine. After a CUPS update, it no longer works properly. When...
