  1. [ubuntu] Re: Entry level tablet for use with Krita

Krita is a KDE app and when you install it, it will install a lot of KDE libraries. This is not a problem as now you'll have those KDE libraries for other KDE apps should you want to install them.

  2. [lubuntu] Re: Lost Wireless with 10.04 to 12.04 LTS upgrade

Is the physical wireless button on?

Have you accidentally turned off the wireless with the function buttons?

This perplexed me for a while too with my Starling.

Check those and I hope it...
  3. [SOLVED] Re: DVD disks not recognized in pangolin preformance laptop

Just add [Solved] to the title of your thread. That should do the trick.

  4. [ubuntu] Re: Lemur battery life and a couple other questions

Thanks for the reply, ubuntu27. Somehow I missed the ultrabook thread. Hrm.

I might go with something else. I get 1.5 hours or so with my Pangolian 5. The idea of a couch-surfing machine is...
  5. [ubuntu] Lemur battery life and a couple other questions

I'm looking at upgrading my computers again. :) I'm quite happy with System76 as a company with their support and high-quality hardware.

  7. [ubuntu] Re: Lemur ultra-thin notebook no longer being carried?

Maybe it's a website error or they're sold out?

I hope so, because if I get this job I'm hoping for (after expenses, ofc) I'm looking to upgrade my machines and send my current machines to a...

[ubuntu] Re: Pangolian 5 CPU and Xorg issue

It controlled my heat issue pretty well. I just decided to increase my desk space (you know the thing my laptop sits on, hah!) by getting rid of the second monitor. I'm actually doing well with...

I thought I was a regular use case with the extra monitor. I guess not now.

I've removed it in the hopes of keeping the heat down.

    And yes, I'm on G+. I don't know exactly what I'm doing...

    Ok.

Come to think of it, I'm running the experimental drivers. The 2D ones are the "nv" drivers; I'm running nouveau.

We'll see if Ubuntu spins a Gnome3 version. I wouldn't mind trying it out;...

    Hrm.

    Ok.

I'm out of warranty, so unless this can be taken care of with software, I'm kind of stuck.
