Thanks for all of the help. Basically, since it was a recurring problem, I just scrapped everything and put up a fresh 11.04 cloud. It seems to have done the trick so far.

It seems that for whatever reason, the 20th reboot was the magic number. Everything just magically started working again. Perhaps it was the threat of a fresh install. Who knows....UEC...<sigh>
