  1. Re: Do you Use Chromium on Linux? Adobe Flash Will Stop Working From April

Great in principle but as the Pepper Plugin for Linux doesn't support DRM it would appear you can forget sites like Chanel 4)D and Demand 5. Also, ironically, google movies it would appear.
  2. Re: Ubuntu Saucy "broke" my Crossover installation

Not a problem - thanks for showing an interest.

As an aside, I have had pretty much the same experience with Google Earth today. The 64 bit deb file would not install due to missing ialibs32....
  3. Re: Ubuntu Saucy "broke" my Crossover installation

Okay, the answer was on the Teamviewer install page - it seems they know about it.

The solution is to install the teamviewer.deb file, as opposed to the 64bit one. Problem solved!
  4. Re: Ubuntu Saucy "broke" my Crossover installation

No I'm not using Crossover at all. I have vanilla wine as there is 1 windows program on my computer (an educational one that my wife uses at the school where she works) and that has survived the...
  5. Re: Ubuntu Saucy "broke" my Crossover installation

Hi - I installed the kubuntu 13.10 issue last night and ran into this issue. Teamviewer was uninstalled in the process and won't reinstall due to lib32asound2 no longer being available. I note you...

[ubuntu] Re: help to install zoostorm wifi drivers

It's certainly worth doing it that way. That way you can do fresh installs of each version when they are out but you don't have to reconfigure everything as all your settings are retained. Saves a...

Very strange! I assume you didn't use the quotes in the command and that you have correctly configured the software manager?

[ubuntu] Re: help to install zoostorm wifi drivers

Okay so you are not an LTS user (12.04), so I assume that at the end of this month when 13.04 final is out you would be upgrading anyway.

For a permanent fix to this problem back up your data to...

[ubuntu] Re: help to install zoostorm wifi drivers

What version (and variant eg kubuntu) are you running? As noted above, my experience is that with 13.04 (which has the 3.8 kernel) the RTL8723ae wireless card just works.

    I've been running kubuntu...

I don't think you can with virtualbox. However, if you go the VMWare way, you can install a converter in Windows which you can then use to create a virtual machine which is a copy of your Windows...

  16. [kubuntu] Re: K3b burns Audio CDs with "unknown" tracks

No, the resulting files are Mp3s. Apart from that, everything else is unknown.
  17. [kubuntu] Re: K3b burns Audio CDs with "unknown" tracks

Same for me I am afraid - the package was already installed
  18. [kubuntu] Re: K3b burns Audio CDs with "unknown" tracks

Thanks for the reply. Yes I have both installed.

Further info, the computer plays MP3s just fine either in Amarok or even the applet in the right-hand pane in Dolphin, so I don't think it's a...
