    [other] Re: Ram Question?

It could still be the PSU, especially if it on its way out and not providing a stable voltage on its rails. If you can check this with another PSU then do so.

Failing that, remove one of the two...

[ubuntu] Re: Ram upgrade on ubuntu 8.10

No, Ubuntu is not the issue, nor would Windows (if you had it).

Your motherboard was probably set to a factory default setting when it was made. When the processor is installed, you are meant to...

[ubuntu] Re: Ram upgrade on ubuntu 8.10

If your CPU is the Athlon 64 LE1600 model (AM2 socket), your clock multiplier should be 11x and the hyper-transport should be 1000MHz in your bios.

Re: WoW on Ubuntu 8.10 Desktop edition [HELP]

Whether you install from the DVD or by copying from a windows version, it wont make a difference. If you are able to run the game, but get a poor fps, you need to setup the graphics driver properly....

    Re: World of Warcraft problem

Error #132 is a very generic one, with no actual reference to the offending bit of hardware/software.

It is usually corrected by re-installing WoW, however this does not always work.

    You...

  7. Re: [Solved] WoW Config.wtf reverts to default after logout/exit

It could also be innocent. Remember Warcraft does run its own "Warden" program to check for "illegal" third party addons. This could be the warden program getting data from the wow servers.

Re: [SOLVED] In WoW but have a problem

The minimap issue is a long standing bug for ATI users, and relates to the driver not being programmed to handle pbuffers (which the minimap uses).

Nvidia cards are not affected by this, and...
  9. Re: Horrible lag / flashing whenever I click (Various Games)

If your PC has an ATi card your need to turn off compiz.

Just go into the appearence options from the toolbar, and I think the compiz options are in the last tab.
  10. Re: wow - escape key doesn't work in lich king

Check your keybindings first, just to mak sure your esc key has not been remapped to something else.

You can also type /quit or /exit in the dialogue box to close the game.
  11. Re: WoW Wotlk - Wine - Intel Graphics - glitches....

Unfortunatley the Intel graphics cards are a bit hit and miss. Some work ok, yet others dont. There arent any propietery drivers from intel either.

No, I said 1.01, the stable release version. Anything above that is classed as development and therefore prone to all sorts of glitches/bugs etc.

  25. Re: Memorry Exception when opening WoW
