Ok, I am a bit further. I have a multiswitch in the attic, currently with one LNB connected to it. Entered the info for DiSEqC correctly (so switch, then LNB) and now it actually did scan !

Installed Mythbuntu today. Spend hour over hour trying to get MythTVto work together with my Hauppauge WinTv-NOVA-HD-S2 card. I've followd so many wikis, reinstalled, tried again ... no success.
