    trust me, if it is the ubuntu 10.10 you want to install, there is no problem because xp is already installed so you wont have a problem with dual boot afterwards but the point is you will not use...

    hey, if you have windows 7 installed already, you won't have much of a problem...just restart the pc with the ubuntu installation cd, choose to boot from cd...thereafter while the installation runs...

    download easus partition manager, install it in xp partition...and then open it and you will be able to see all your partitions there, resize, decrease and move whatever partition as you wish.
