    Re: Is TOR safe to use?

    I only somewhat recently learned about TOR. Since I needed to reinstall Ubuntu anyway, I downloaded the .tar TOR bundle. Opened it up and just had a quick peak around and then did the re-install.

    Re: Computer reboots unexpectedly

    If you CPUs are running at 100%, I'd say there is a possibility you're running out of RAM or your CPU is getting too hot.

    How much RAM does your system have?

    Re: New Configuration of USB Flash Drives

    This is what I'm thinking.

    I see no reason why that workaround Gossar mentioned, shouldn't work though.
    This kinda pisses me off though, as I liked Sandisk. They shouldn't force stuff on people...

  8. [ubuntu] Re: Boot fails, but LiveCD can't see HDD -- need help troubleshooting

    Sounds like you need a new HDD.
    Have you check the connection from your HDD to your motherboard? If you tinkered around in there recently, you may have moved the connection loose or something.
  9. Re: Ubuntu/Debian don't detect my Windows 7 Installation at all??

    You should be choosing "Something Else", NOT guided.
    It's the very last option with Ubuntu.

    [SOLVED] Re: Time is not updated Correctly in Dual OS

    You probably did not set your location when, at least on Ubuntu, when you did the install.

    Just clock on the time at the top right of your Ubuntu Taskbar and click "Time and Date Settings". you...

    Ah you're on Saucy. you should have posted in "Ubuntu +1" since there was likely a breakage with one of the last updates. You're on a development release.

    Re: Dual boot Windows 8.1 and Ubuntu issue....

    Thanks for the response oldfred.

    The drive order in my first post is wrong. Its actually SDA(120gb - Win8.1) = HD0, SDB = HD1(120 - Servers) and then SDC = HD2(300gb).
    So Windows 8.1 is on HD0....

    SDA = Windows 8 drive.
    SDB = 120gb drive with Server installs.**
    SDC = 300gb drive.**[/QUOTE]

    Fixed. Couldn't edit the first post.

    I have this same issue with 13.04. Just hit any key and it will look for a BTRFS filesystem and then continue to boot.
