i have an acer 4810T with karmic 9.10


when i am on battery brightness should be at 50% and get back to 100% when i plug in the ac power.

it seems that there is no problem from boot...

it seemed as my problem was solved but after i downloaded some new files i had the same problem!
i figured out that apparently "transmission" was responsible for this!
i also posted to their forums...

my problem is solved!

i was suggested to use a checkdisk utility from western digital for my hdd so i did or i tried to do. it gave me some error code before it even started to check! i just hope...

so i have used the live-cd and checked the sda4. -- no problems found!

i also managed to copy from sda3 to sda3(logged in as root) and copies normaly with no delays!
then (still logged in as...

after a lot of testing, i have gathered these...

i'm so frustrated of this problem!
i've searched and searched but i found nothing useful!
the problem is not by nautilus because i installed KDE also in my system and i have the same problem again!...

well...

i thought i should try thunderbird and... everything goes with no problem!

i'm in greece but if i remember well it is in A4...
