just randomly pressed the "up / down" keys on bootup, & saw i moved the curser (I didnt try that before as the wording was too tiny to see that it was a menu).

Rebooted and same error, text too tiny to read.
when memtest running, I fund that "smbus controller not known". That's the only error I've found.

il turn off PC, and try tomorrow.

Ok. Il wait a few hours then reboot. I don't know error message as I need a telescope to read the text, too tiny to read.

Thanks. Don't normally keep PC on at night but will do tonight and see tomorrow. Il just use ipad.

ps. Are these/this errors usually fixable ? I was surfing the local shoos to see about a new PC.
