Re: Could this kill linux gaming?

Linux gaming? What Linux gaming? The last good big-name commercial game that came out for Linux was Neverwinter Nights.

You don't have to be gay to hate the baby Jesus.
  4. Re: Shelley the Republican Linux "Article"

As an atheist, I resent this. System of a Down is a worthless band that wouldn't know heavy metal if it fell from the sky and crushed them. Hip atheists listen to Bruce Dickinson.

Poll: Re: Going back to windows.

Of course not. If you want to use Windows apps, why are you mucking about with Linux? You don't see me trying to run GarageBand (a Mac app) on Linux.

I name my computers after pagan sex goddesses. My Ubuntu box is ASTARTE. My Mac is LILITH. My wife's computer was called FREYJA. My router is VENUS.

    Re: Marshmallows in cerial discussion

I find it amusing that humans in the US give their children candy for breakfast, and then dare to complain when the kids are either unwilling or unable to sit still in the prisons that public schools...

Why bother? He won't listen to facts, because he's already made up his mind. What we have here is another Windows user who assumed that because his gear worked with Windows it would also work with...

Re: Tux Magazine Will Become a Paid Magazine in 2007

I don't read Tux since I'm not a newbie or a KDE user, so it doesn't matter to me.
  12. Re: Ok, here's the challenge: convince me to change!

Indeed. How exactly is this anybody's concern but your own? It's your computer; run whatever you want.

    Poll: Re: Should GNOME Fork?

People keep saying that, and I keep trying to figure out where they got such a harebrained idea. Microsoft got a lock on the market because they had an OS to offer (DOS) when IBM needed one for its...

    Poll: Re: Should GNOME Fork?

Whether the world would benefit or not means absolutely nothing. If a group of GNOME users wants GNOME to work in a certain manner or is displeased with the direction in which GNOME is heading, then...

    Re: Apple Equivalaents

IMHO, MS Office 2004 for Mac sucks. Maybe it's because it was running under emulation, but it was slow as hell on my 1.83GHz MacBook. I tried to use it for an hour, junked it, and started using...

Let them use Windows and continue to suffer, then. PC gaming, IMO, is overrated.

  25. Poll: Re: Why Apple doesn't want to release iTunes for Linux

I've got a Mac. I don't care if Apple releases iTunes for Linux. In fact, if iTunes for Windows is any indication, iTunes is likely to suck on any non-Mac operating system.
