FYI, this is much easier now that the openssh package in Interpid is above version 4.8.
rssh is no longer necessary.

Just FYI to anyone interested in doing this under Intrepid... Most of the above steps are no longer necessary as the openssh-server package is now above version 4.8 in Ubuntu 8.10.

Upon logging in to the newly created account via ssh, I am prompted to change my password.
I plan on having this account used by multiple people, so I don't want them to have the ability to change...

The only problem i had was the current dmraid package requiring some sortof "selinux" library. I simply downloaded an earlier release and it worked like a charm.
