    @I_am_DLR: 10.04 uses grub2. Looks like you are trying "legacy grub" procedures?

    To add my own experiences with my 1001p-MU17:

    First round was with wubi/Lucid. Pretty much mirrored the issues other people had. Successfully used ndiswrapper to get wireless working.
