Turns out it was my bad, two NIC's on the same subnet = bad.
My router uses a different address as in default wlan0 gateway.
My wlan nic is a pcmcia...

I seem to have a similar problem.
My computer starts up with eth0 disconnected, running internet over wlan0, and when I assign a static IP to eth0 to connect another computer I loose internet...
