    I too could not play Yahoo Games on 8.04. I followed HotShotDJ's post but installed java5 and NOT 6 as suggested. Works GREAT!! Yahoo games now work.

    I did a clean install of Hardy and then installed wine from the repo's and "everything" works fine... just like it did in Gutsy.

    The "Empty Trash" button does not highlight in mine either. I have to select all item(s) (Ctrl+A) and then press the "Delete" button to remove anything thats in the Trash Folder.

    It's Annoying...

    ipblock now loads at boot to run in the background and I'm able to run it's GUI when I want to!

    This is why the Ubuntu Linux community is so GREAT!

    When I do that, it stops the running session but does not display the GUI. This is what the terminal shows;

    When I go to "Computer, System Configuration, Screen Resolution" I'm given a choice of 2 screen resolutions, 800x600 and 640x480.
    When I look at the XF86Config-4 it shows 1024x768 and 800x600.

    Color depth 24 is the same as 1... I didn't post it all to save space.
