i have vsftp set up to authenticate with a mysql database wich worked fine with ubuntu 10.04

UPDATE
i improved the resolution detection. i assumed that no video will have a smaller aspect ratio than 4:3 (1.3333)
and i use melt for encoding, because i want more advanced things like logo...
i use this in a script to get the height and the width of the different videos.

hm, same problem here on kubuntu 10.4 with unfs on ubuntu 10.4 server
no idea what it could be
i have the same problem here. none of the described solutions worked.
