Did a new add-apt repository and after that apt-get update...
After that i restarted and ran the update manager again and there it did the update of emesene again and evertything...

Hi I have the same problem after I tried to update EMESENE with the ppa in the update manager:

Did a regular update of a wubi installed 10.04 and the update within to 10.10
I can still start Windows.

However it didn't work for me... I already had a newer wubildr in my Windows root folder, but to test I renamed it wubildr(2) and copied the one from /ubuntu/winboot...

Upgraded from wubi installed 10.04 to 10.10 and after upgrading from 10.04 to 10.10 i couldn't boot the ubuntu and it just restarted..
