Re: Asus: "It's better with windows"

Depends on what you consider old. In the spectrum of netbooks and the Eee PC family, they're fairly recent. Not too many models have even come out after them. The S101, 1008HA, and 1002 series? The...

Re: April 2009 Desktop Screenshot Thread

I had the Japan icons, a very nice canvas-painting-Japense-esque, and a nice light brown theme going on for a long time. I realllly liked it. :D
And this wallpaper is amazing, the high quality and...

    [ubuntu] Re: new to ubuntu

Go to System -> Preferences -> Main Menu. You'll find it there. :)

Just go to the section it's in and un-check it. Assuming it's there. I'd think it would've removed itself, so if it's not there,...

    [ubuntu] Removing an icon.

I no longer use GNOME's default network manager applet, but even though I removed the applications, the applet still remains in the notification area. Is there any way I can get rid of it?

Curious, what kind of dock is that at the bottom? I rather like the way you have it laid out.

    :D

EDIT: Just kidding, didn't see your other post!

Poll: Re: so u like or not the new forum look ?

It's definitely slower on my PC.
And that's really the determining factor that makes me not like it.

Layout wise it looks good, if it only didn't take a minute to load the whole page layout....
  13. Re: (Somewhat facetiously) Should we have a stickie telling Windows experts to stay a

Being myself, I tend to catch on slowly, but I would never blame the system for problems on it, unless of course it came pre-install with Vista [you know the acronym].

    Anyway, that's pretty lame,...

They have a screenlet called Internet TV that plays TV channels like BBC o.o

All you need is libxul-dev package and the ones that come with it.

I think the point still stands - who wants an annoying piece of plastic sticking out of their USB ports?

For a couple extra 100's, add a bigger monitor and that might be right of my ally.

This should help get the word out on Linux - for those who may have been concerned.
