Now, without changing anything on my system and without another reboot (!) the problem disappeared.
At the moment I can move files around and the folders behave as they should.

    [ubuntu] Re: Nautilus Problem

    Yes, I also use ext4.
And I move PDF-files into the affected folders.
During the time the folder tries to load, it sometimes looks as if all files were gone.

I've just discovered, that after a...

    [ubuntu] Re: Nautilus Problem

    Hi, shanksy75!

The same thing happens with nautilus on my 64 bit Karmic-installation.
But it only occurs, when I drop a new file into this folder.
    Otherwise nautilus behaves normally.

[ubuntu] Re: How to ASUS K50IJ - Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty

No way. VLC, Cheese and Skype mix up the image from the webcam in both webcam-flips.
But I can live with that.
The microphone-thing is more annoying, because I have to use a headset while using...

    Not on my machine!
No difference between 'sudo flip_webcam 1' or 'sudo flip_webcam 2'.

Left and right are still mixed up.
At least I don't have to stand on my head anymore... :-)

[ubuntu] Re: How to ASUS K50IJ - Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty

    Yes, there is a microphone.

With Windows 7 RC it works (more or less out of the box ;-)).
You can easily test it using Skype.

My webcam is also upside down.
