    Yes Cinnamon 1.4 is a nice stable desktop. I prefer it now to Mate, Gnome classic, gnome shell or Unity.

    No it isn't. The MATE project i.e. forked gnome 2 is alive and kicking. I tried it out for a couple of hours yesterday and it is nearly up to scratch. Kudos to Perebos.

    1) Comment out the Partner ID line
    2) Insert the BASE_XOAP_URL line given in 3501 at the end of the config file
