Hello! I recently used pendrivelinux to make an installer to add Ubuntu 12.04 to another, larger flash drive. This is the 64-bit version on a brand new computer, yet it is nightmarishly slow. I...
OK, loaded the one with the successful but unviewable install. vbeinfo showed a BUNCH of things, and the code provided didn't work on it.
[Using the Desktop, not Alternate, like you asked]
It seems to work better. While the stuff is smaller, I get an image when booting Lubuntu, and the flashing slows down.

OK, so I got bored on Sunday after morning service was over, so I returned to messing around with C++ with the little knowledge I have and started making a text-based adventure game (the last two...
The startup disk creator doesn't let me make an installer with the mini.iso.

11.10 has been working the entire time; I just wanted to get a version of ubuntu that supported Steam.
I got this used, and this is what I get as my computer starts up (no matter what happens)

I've been using two seperate flashdrives: one with my 11.10 on it, and the Lubuntu one.
Also, I just noticed the post on installing normal with NOMODESET, and that didn't work, either.
