    Re: Linux 3.8-rc1

Because the Ubuntu Kernel Team (or some smaller part of it) apparently got in their heads that nobody cares about the configs as long as you get the new kernel.
  3. Re: Sed an empty line and two new ones before string

    Lolness. Well it was just:

    sed -i "/googleearth-bin/i\# Fix coordinates for non-US locales\nexport LC_NUMERIC=en_US.UTF-8\n" googleearth
  4. Sed an empty line and two new ones before string

    Hey,

What I'd like to do is to make the ending in the Google Earth script look like so (preferably by specifying to add the bolded lines before the line with the string 'googleearth-bin'):

[SOLVED] Re: A quick Bash array question

Yeah I was on Windows and have no interest in installing things like Bash there so that's why I asked, if you could verify for me. That was the reason I wasn't sure.

[SOLVED] Re: A quick Bash array question

Yeah, I was talking about this: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/jd/jdk-devel/PKGBUILD.

PKGBUILDs are package scripts for Arch's package manager Pacman.

So am I to understand this will work?:...

  13. [SOLVED] zsh: "unalias -a" = "bad option: -a"

    Hey,

Whenever I do "unalias -a" with zsh it returns this:

    └┌(%:~)┌- unalias -a
    zsh: bad option: -a

I can get around it like this but I'd really prefer the former way:

Yeah, well, I'd much rather have someone just tell me how to do the single thing I'm never gonna do again, instead of reading some docs and finding out myself. Thanks.

    Hey,

What's the simplest way to send a command to another tty?

E.g. if I wanted to run 'xmonad --replace' in X but was unable to do so, how could I send the command from another tty to there?
