I have a fresh install on a desktop (Q6600, 2gb) of 12.10 (with the AMD drivers). After 10 minutes of inactivity, the screen shuts off. I don't want the screen to shut off.
I can find no setting...

Lilo applied. Giving it a whirl.
Unfortunately, the BIOS does not permit selection of individual drives for boot. It only gives the option "Hard Disk".

I have had this problem for some time but finally decided to run it to ground today.
I have a dual-boot 11.04/Win 7 setup, with each being on a separate drive. Ubuntu is the first drive to boot....
