yeah, affects me as well. i first used it in ubuntu 9.10 and it didn't capture sound there either.
that's the exact controller i use. didn't have to install any drivers or anything, it worked well as soon as i plugged it in.

looks like the executable is still in the build directory. just copy and paste it into the folder that contains the data, build, source, etc. folders.
the physics engine was rewritten and moved to bullet in this release. i'm pretty sure it's not completely finished, but i personally find this release more playable than past releases. car physics...
oh, i left out the last couple of steps. sorry :oops:
the binary should be in the "build" directory. copy and paste it to vdrift's main directory.

i used dolphin once. one of the better emulators i've used actually.
but it requires a pretty fast computer
