Anyone able to check on this? :???:
Hey folks,
I'm having troubles connecting to my home wifi. It has worked before. Wired connection works like a charm.
I have also connected to other wifis since the problem occurred. However,...
Hey folks,
I have troubles with the wifi connection on my x230. Right now, I'm not able to connect to any network. Even though I see them through the network manager, it doesn't connect and...
Actually, googling a bit in English gave me this satisfying result: https://www.enigmail.net/support/transition_to_gnupg2.php
Thanks anyway, Lars! Cheers!
Hey germanix,
how is the wifi on your x230 with 14.04? I'm still running 12.04 but I think about upgrading, partially since my wifi is reaaally slow or not connecting to networks at all. Heard that...
Haven't upgraded my x230 yet since 12.04 runs smoothly. Would like to hear some experiences, too! Anyone?
I got the same message. The GnuPG Ubuntuusers Page says that its recommendable to install both versions aside of each other. Do I have to reassign the version, Enigmail uses? Do I have to generate...
After booting up my computer this morning, the indicator is back in the corner...
Another weired thing: restarting the daemon gives the same result.
sudo dropbox stop
...
sudo dropbox start
Actually, I restarted dropbox manually and noe the old indicatoris back in place. I will post it in the (abandoned?!) dropbox-forums in case it reappears.
Thanks!
Won't mark this thread solved...
Thanks for your reply. I understood that nobody has found a solution so far? Can I run dropbox without the icon then? Its placement is quite.... unfortunate. ;)
Hey folks,
after rebooting my computer today, my dropbox indicator shows weired behaviour.
Instead of being a normal icon in the unity panel, it shows up in the top left corner (unfortunately...
Hey again,
I eventually found the VBGuestAdditions.iso on my host system and mounted it manually on my guest system. (under /usr/share/virtualbox/ --> you can check the location on the host system...
Hey,
unfortunately clicking "insert guest additions cd image" doesn't do anything for me (see screenshot). My VM is connected to the internet though.
Any hints?

Hey there,
I have a running virtualbox with Win 7 as guest and Ubuntu 12.04 LTS as host. Works well, but I didn't know that I needed to install the guest additions as well for better support of full...
Hey there,
since yesterday, I have a weird issue with my sound (no installs done or anything).
My speakers stopped working. In my "sound settings" only my headphone output has an entry (see...
Sweet, have found it myself, after PasteBin gave me another view onto my sources.list. I pasted the VirtualBox-deb into another entry. :/
Hey guys,
I think this should be an easy fix but I couldn't come up with a solution myself.
I have a broken repository, when updating my package list.
sudo apt-get update
Gives me some...
Is this as tricky as it seems? Any more information needed?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Hey there,
I have a ThinkPad X230 and I can't get my laptop to wake up from suspend. The screen remains black and I have to reboot by pressing the power button.
I've tried the following things...
Hey there,
I updated to 12.10 a few days ago and it turned out badly (no unity 3d support, so no panels at all). Anyway, I downgraded today again and with unity 2d everything works well so far.
...
:) No worries. I know it's not the most beautiful solution but at least it works fine. Have tried other things before and always had issues. I'm open minded towards new suggestions, obviously.
I do file transfers from Linux to Windows by setting up an OpenSSH-Server on the Linux computer and access it via a program like WinSCP or any other SFTP-compatible program. Have you checked this...
Solved it myself.
The dell-laptop - thing was indeed the problem. Problem solved by rmmod it and then blacklist it.
Maybe the solution lies right here?
