  1. [ubuntu] Re: 'ldconfig' not found in PATH or not executable.

I have the same think here on a Debian after a dist-upgrade.

Your command without the env throws the error - with the env, it outputs nothing, i.e. it seems to work. It seems ldconfig is in /sbin...

    Hi,

I was wondering how much interest there is for mouse wheel acceleration? I am using both MacOSX and Linux a lot and when I return to Linux from MacOSX, I always notice the big difference in...
  3. [kubuntu] Re: why is kdm starting in failsafe? why is that failing?

Thanks for the reference! I think this is very related. It doesn't actually really help because there is still no good suggestion about how to fix this (only really ugly workaround which are so...
  4. [kubuntu] why is kdm starting in failsafe? why is that failing?

    Hi,

KDM always seems to start the failsafe server, not the normal one. At least I don't see any logs from a failed start attempt of the normal server (I checked /var/log/Xorg* and...

Going into base install is no problem if it is only an option somewhere which is disabled by default.

[all variants] Re: screen resolution too high

It doesn't have a native resolution. It's connected via VGA.

Re: Mac-style Menu Bar for GTK and Java/Swing applications!

Just wanted to ask: What is the current state of this? When is this going to get into Ubuntu? Why isn't it already? What are the current problems? How complicated is it to port this over to KDE...

  17. Re: Commander Keen

But two guys on the same keyboard is possible in OLX. :)

And/or playing over network of course.

  21. OpenLieroX 0.58 beta4

  22. Re: OpenLieroX beta 8 - now with Debian i386 and AMD64 release

Good to know that it works ok with OpenGL for you.

Perhaps I will just activate OpenGL by default in the next release. (OLX anyway fallsback to non-OpenGL if it detects any problems.)

    Is here...
