    I configured everything with NetworkManager and it works.

    PS: Avoid checking "Available to all users", there is a bug with the password manager which ends up with VPN connection problems.

    network-manager-pptp comes preinstalled and you should be able to configure pptp vpn out of the box with network manager.

    I've just realized that the problem occurs only when using UserDir module.

    I have no problem when running scripts from /var/www instead of /home/user_name/pbulic_html
