I have a new E372.. and also have problems to make it functionnal.

If the modem is plugged at boot time, it's working (switching) ok.

If not, it seems it's not switching to modem...

I have this same problem :(

And also I don't have the icon in the notification aera when Google Music Manager is running :(

As far as I know, every application in Ubuntu can't send sound via hdmi.

It is a (known) limitation of pulseaudio; so if you absolutely need that, maybe you should remove pulseaudio and use only...

I finally managed to get 5.1 sound through HDMI.

You need to use and configure vlc to play your files.

To configure vlc :

Tools -> Preferences -> Audio

Yes, I can confirm that suspend is broken.
I had it working with karmic with 64bits.

Now after upgrading to lucid, it's the only thing that's not working :(

Yes I restarted my computer (twice) and still have this error.

Can it be because i did modify the nm-openvpn-service.conf when trying to install the openvpn plugin as explained earlier in this...
