    I don't have a mount point for /dev/md0, as there is no filesystem (e.g. ext3 as you suggested) on it. /dev/md0 is part of a PV, on which a LV resides in which there is a xfs filesystem.

    Extra info: on top of this Raid I use LVM, however this should not contribute to the problem, AFAIK.
