hello all, i installed the 32bit version on my old laptop.
everything worked ok until i saw a notification of better drivers.
hardware drivers.
i installed the nvidia video driver (96)

for the noobs like me, that have a hard time getting this to work.
be aware of the windows boot partition is NOT the installed partition (where you directed windows to while installing)

that did the trick, i had vala 0.5.1.
kinda wierd as the ./configure says, warning needing vala 5.1 (or something like that)

i noticed some wierdness, like hanging when switching away.
i got used to the habbit to start it windowed, then when it loads hit alt-enter to switch, if i need to get out for a min i hit...
don't use /path/to
thats just an expample
go to the dir where you put winetricks and do ./winetricks
and don't forget to do chmod +x winetricks first
best way to check for errors is use...
anyone else having trouble to switch desktops while LOTRO is running.
before MoM i could switch desktops without a problem, now LOTRO switches to a different mode, and i can't activate it anymore,...
That would take a while, as i'm on holiday for about 13 days, in hungary.
i only have 2 notebooks here, and no reliable internet.

Hmm i have installed in on my hardy 32 bits without problems, only problem was the 64bits computers.
from that screenshot it looks like you don't have the patched gtklib
you can test the menu's...
read the last few pages, between me and rainwoodman.
with his help i was able to do it.

well for 32bits system the install is described in

for 64 bits, you need to compile it by hand, and patch the gtk lib
