Ok, this is a case of crossed up memory on keyboards I use. I apologise for my mistake. Fn F1 shuts off the touchpad. How do I mark this solved by operator error ?

Yes, on the Starling 10" (Star5) its F1 ESC and even with the live thumb drive I cant shut off the touchpad. Same thuimb drive I used to install 12.04

Yes F1 has the touchpad icon on it. Im pretty sure it was F1 and ESC that I used to hit that shut off the touchpad.

But I have no idea how to reinstall drivers.

I think it was F1 ESC that I used to hit to shut off the mouse pad. Now thats not doing it.

Just installed 10.04LTS, and all was pretty smooth.

I've used Ubuntu Software center to install k3b, and openshot, went fine.

But when I tried to install DeVeDE I got these error messages.

Found a TV set with built in DVD player. Not only does the DeVeDe iso I made a DVD with K3b work, but even the .vbo DVD I made directly from Openshots output, and burned to DVD with k3b also played....

Well! Devede took the Openshot vob, and I got an iso file. When I open the iso file, I see audio_ts and video_ts files.
