I had to delete "+0+0" from the xorg.conf metamodes line to make it go away
I reinstalled cedega, reinstalled JA2 and it works now .. just like windows lol :)
funny thing that ja2 worked under wine before reinstall, but didnt in cedega

this is because of python 2.5, cedega advises to downgrate to 2.4, but ?I cant do it under feisty, even with 2.4 installed uninstalling 2.5 marks half the packages ffor removal :/
