I swapped out one of the two cnet ethernet cards for a SMB one, here are the new results of the test, If you notice there is one less uknownheader, but still no recognition

I also don't know if this is related but at start up I see these four errors having to do with pci and header types:

Okay so I did a fresh install of xubuntu 8.04.1 onto an old dell dimension 4500 and everything works great except for the internet, when I go into network manager you can't create any new connections...

I tried both of those solution and still got thw white screen of death, does any one know ho I could edit the xorg.conf file form the terminal so I could just manualy add Driver "ati"

Okay so I was trying to install new ati drivers for my x1300 radeon graphics card I bought and when I try to run the command:
aticonfig --intitial

I get the error that "Configured Video Devices"...

okay so I am relatively new to Linux and am looking to use the gcc and g++ compilers for Linux to compile and run some basic c/c++ code. I have already "installed" gcc and g++ with sudo apt-get...

Thanks I installed it fine but now I decided that its not that much better than my 64bit firefox so I want to remove the 32bit version this told me how to install, how do I go about doing that?
