    My network used to be named after countries.

    The firewall was "'Merica", cause it protected the rest of my countries / systems from "North Korea" or "China" (Otherwise known as the "Internet")....

    For LDAP the server shouldn't be configured via DHCP in the first place, it should have a static IP. It may work I'm not 100% sure but its probably better to give it a static IP. What do you mean...

    I'd really copy the two servers over to some kind of test setup then play with it. No matter what you will have massive hassles. If you can get it to work can you please post up here how you did it?

    If you just straight jump the drives over and set the RAID card up as "RAID0" then it should boot. You may have to play with the order the drives are connected though so that sda1 links to x and...

    Its really not that Linux is more secure then Windows or MAC, its the fact that we aren't as targetted as much as the other user bases.

    Do you have any other virtual machines already running in this environment? Can you try an older version of Ubuntu, such as 10.04?

    Could also be network related. Do other operating systems / computers on your local network (at home or at work) have the same issue getting this site?
