Sound alot like my problem it worked with hardy but not with intrepid I've tried eveything that I find on the forums I'm ready to throw this thing in the trash. please help

I think it's fix I applied the changes now for the wifi thanks for your help

I applied the fix again and I get the failed to fetch the ports.ubuntu.com/dist/ hardy-security/release and some other stuff it failed to get

I have upgraded to 8.10 but I try switching the archives over to ports i had fix the problem but it's back again and I find the fix so I could use some help

How do protect my self on open wifi like at Starbucks I read about Tor are there better options than Tor?

I having trouble downloading the repositories I did a clean install of hardy. started to update it says could not download the repositories. looked for fixes on the forums but no luck and one having...
