  1. [ubuntu] Re: 12.04 MAAS install, not seeing maas-enlist in pxe bootup

I couldn't get 12.04 working so I moved to 12.10 and that worked better.
  2. [ubuntu] Re: 12.04 MAAS install, not seeing maas-enlist in pxe bootup

Just to follow up on this issue, I was able to get my 12.10 maas install working, so I won't be needing any help with this.
  3. [ubuntu] Re: 12.04 MAAS with ppa:juju/pkgs, cannot get status, error on bootstrap

I think it has to do with using 12.04 maas with juju that is expecting an api that didn't exist in that version of maas. I could be totally wrong, though.

I've been able to get my 12.10 maas...

[ubuntu] Re: 12.10 MAAS issues from fresh install...

I just wanted to post and say that 12.04 ended up not working out well for me. PXE would not work (which I posted in another thread). And then I couldn't get juju to get status properly in 12.04...
  5. [ubuntu] 12.04 MAAS with ppa:juju/pkgs, cannot get status, error on bootstrap

I am going to assume these two problems are related, but maybe not. I have MAAS running using 12.04. I still have the problem I mentioned in another thread regarding maas-enlist, but I went ahead...
  6. [ubuntu] 12.04 MAAS install, not seeing maas-enlist in pxe bootup

From what I read, I should have a default PXE bootup called maas-enlist. Please correct me if I am wrong. My intent is to have a MAAS server running, and having a subnet which when I boot pxe, it...

[ubuntu] Re: 12.10 MAAS issues from fresh install...

I forgot to mention... This is a combined region controller and cluster controller. The default setup has RELEASES="precise" and ARCHES="amd64/generic i386/generic armhf/highbank" (which I have...

I installed ubuntu with maas using the instructions on maas.ubuntu.com. I have 2 network adaptors, one on my lan, and another on which I plan on using maas...
  11. Re: Mac-style Menu Bar for GTK and Java/Swing applications!

Thanks, I got it all cleaned up. For some reason I had some broken package issues. I just downloaded the latest released debs (using the list in the original zip file) and reloaded them manually...
  12. Re: Mac-style Menu Bar for GTK and Java/Swing applications!

Hi, At the risk of sounding really stupid.... I've read to do this over and over, but I just don't see "apt-build" anywhere. Is there a file I can edit instead or something?
  13. Re: Mac-style Menu Bar for GTK and Java/Swing applications!

The install worked fine for me, I just would like to uninstall it. I'm having the exact same problem.

When I go into the package manager, under third-party software, I don't see any entries in...
