I just searched through my system and deleted all the quodlibet files and then installed all the 0.22 packages using Synaptic. Now most of the plugins are working. The one that isn't is the tray...

OK I just needed to reload in Synaptic and now I have access to the packages!!:D

I had to use sudo instead of gksu as well. gksu just wouldn't work for me. Gave me some sort of error and then spat me out of whatever I was trying to do. Sudo worked fine.
