2- Open a terminal window using the dash menu or simply press Ctrl+Alt+t

1- On Ubuntu 13.10, I decided to set up Gnome 3 to test the 3.10 components. So, I added the official ppa by

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get...
I guess it's a bug, that I have to report. Will do soon.
There's no alternate setup basically now; it's all in the Live CD. It's pretty simple to upgrade using a Live CD, but an Internet...
I have a Lenovo S10-3t with Ubuntu 12.10 installed. Knowing that I have limited Internet access where the machine is (and will be), my 13.04 upgrade ways seem to be as limited. Here's the issue I...

You can use a simple GUI for that; NTFS Configuration Tool
sudo apt-get install ntfs-config

I started an upgrade from Natty to Oneiric and everything seemed to be ok; no errors appeared. Restarted the system, but I cannot get to the login screen anymore.

mm..OK let's make sure that the problem is as I diagnosed.
1- Play any Youtube video and check if ALSA plug-in appears in the "Sound Preferences" Application's tab
System>>Preferences>>Sound then...

So, it will be...

I have actually purged 0.9.4 and compiled 0.8.8 instead. Now, DockBarX is working pretty much as intended and I have to be honest, the overall Compiz performance has improved a lot.
I have just upgraded from Maverick to Natty. After the upgrade I updated my PPA's to the Natty ones. DockBarX was one of these applications updated but after it has been updated the window previews...
