Sorry about that. I now have installed Winetricks and reinstalled the ADE. I am happy to say that it is working and I can read my books.
BTW i am running Ubuntu 13.04 on an Intel core 2 duo triple...

I got the ADE installed on my desktop. I am unable to open it. What is wrong?

In some countries Skype is not allowed but Viber is. Maybe because it will load on iPhone?
I have a number of issues with Zawgyi/Padauk fonts. I have installed the two as advised in mm-deb pkg. And also taken the above steps. I still can not get the correct words. I will write zagyi below....
