No. Same problem. I click the icon, but nothing happens.

I am running 12.04. When I click the update manager icon, nothing happens. When I hit alt-tab to see everything that is open, the update manager icon shows up, but I can not actually open it.

In 12.04, settings/brightness and lock: What is the difference between turning the screen off when inactive, and locking the screen, if you don't require password when waking from suspend?

It seems to work if the link is not in dropbox. I'll let you know if there is any problem. I'm going to see if ubuntu one has a similar problem to dropbox, but I doubt it will.
