We only have instructions for these versions:
Basic steps
For 11.04, Natty Narwhal

What is working and what is not working on the 101MT on Ubuntu 12.04 or Ubuntu 12.10?

...Not that slow thread....0 minutes from last post
Anyone got 12.04 working OK with first gen touch screen?
There seems to be some hickups with second gen.
I'm currently running 10.10 on my first gen and would like to hear comments about 12.4...

The scrpit should be run as a deamon, i.e. you run it once at startup or start it manually.
It will look for an acpi event "0000007b" which on my first gen asus is the express button.
If yuo look...

Where did you get version 0.0.9? Did I miss something?
Latest version on the wiki page is 0.0.7. :-k
You can set the script to run automatically. Just add it to: System - Preferences - Startup Applications. :)
In Preferences - Mouse - Accessibility you can tick the checkbox "Trigger...
If you are using the first generation screen then have a look at this post http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=10410974&postcount=787

The red part makes the script run like a deamon. Without it the script would only run once and exit.
The blue part could be altered to your suggestion. Both ways work about the same.
Yes, I noticed that myself. Those lines are obsolete.
Calling scripts from within other scripts is done all the time in Ubuntus own scripts. I don't find that odd at all, but everyone...
I simplified the script by calling Plippos touchrotate from it.
This way you can have the screen to rotate clockwise each time the button is pressed.
#!/bin/bash
while true
do

Nice script - works like a charm.
Would be nice though to be able to rotate the screen, say clockwise every time the rotate button is pressed.
I also noted that the script rotates the touchscreen...
and exit when done

So I got the sed part done and also the rmmod eeepc-laptop and modprobe eeepc-laptop OK.
As a user I then issued the command:...
Hi,
I followed your instructions here: http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=59055
When I execute the sed command:
sudo sed -e 's!\x1a\x0\x0\x0\x98!\x1a\x0\x0\x0\x99!' eeepc-laptop.ko.orig...
Or have a look at this link how to make it run at each boot. :)

Yes you can.
You need to set up Windows first to get the partitions correct on the disk.
The disk has no free space after you have set up Windows.
You will find several partitions on the disk....

I have revision 0601 bios and twofing is working in Maverick with kernel 2.6.35-23.
I did not get pressure sensitivity to work in gimp, but that could be due to other issues.
Any chance of getting the kernel driver for Maverick added to the plippo/t101mt ppa?
Would make updating a lot easier.
