Same problem. Cannot add vpn connection. 12.04LTS

I cannot run gui however i'am ok with console version. I rebuild bitcoind from Debian and got my 0.05 free bitcoins :)

Yep. Open alt+F2, seahorse. Than go to passwords tab and find password with google:// scheme. It seems that gnome-keyring stores old password for contacts. Delete this stored password and try access...

Check new network manager in 8.10. It works fine for me :)

I think you have to enable your host username and pass there if you use authenticated http connection.

Yep. You should enable DAV locking.
Change permissions on /var/run/apache2

chown www-data:www-data /var/run/apache2/
