    Everything at least in "raring" is OK.
    apt-get install lib32stdc++6-4.7-dev
    solves the problem.

    I have same issue as there i.e. cannot compile anything with -m32
    How properly can i upgrade gcc if there is no such in my repositories?

    i've removed network manager for a long time ago. For now no luck. But one guy from my work was lucky to run it under debian. For this moment i don't know where reason is.

    What you mean by "might try a basic fix and update with a cable"?


    I had by default linux rtl8192cu driver. And saw my adapter as wlan1 via "ifconfig -a". With ndiswrapper i don't see even that....

    In my home 12.10 kubuntu i have 2*3=6 desktops , so when i switching from #2 to #6 it animates two times down (#2->#4->#6).
    While on my work debian+KDE it takes rather one up (#2->#6). And i like it...
