I have disabled the Intel I use the Ati only and it works just fine with Ubuntu amd64.

i have ubuntu 9.10 amd64 installed.
I had some problems with my YP-Q1 until the firmware upgrade.
Now everything is working. Mount, drag and copy, listen to music inside the Q1, etc......

I have the same results you have about internal microph. and t.pad on-of button.
But what disappoints me more is the battery power that under karmic runs no more than 3.5 hours where on vista...

how about the energy saving on the 4810 ?
Running karmic there is no way I can get more than 3.5 hours on battery power, where on vista I get the advertised 8 hours.
May be, that is because...
